“The pantry is so visible – it has to be sophisticated, in keeping with the kitchen and living room, which it does,” says interior designer Linda Woodrum. “And the laundry room is not so visible. It’s nice to turn the corner and have the hot, intense wall color.”
A stainless steel single-basin undermount sink accommodates both washday chores and crafting tasks that may prove too messy for kitchen sink and countertop surfaces.
Using vibrant color — counter to the home’s overall color palette — proves a win in this circumstance, says interior designer Linda Woodrum. “It doesn’t really impact the large living space, so I’m fine with it.”
