“We wanted the ground level of the house to feel like an inviting living space and an extension of the upper living levels, so we added a comfortable seating area with a Ping-Pong table and television and sealed the cement floors with a protective marine coating to give the floors a glossy finished look,” says house planner Jack Thomasson.
